The Founder
Rebekah Bamido Foundation is led by Dr Borowa Azabi, MD, MPH, a public health expert and advocate for healthier communities, and work-places. She is passionate about improving health care delivery and health care systems in Nigeria. She has several years of experience in field work, non-profit organization and health care delivery.
Under Dr. Azabi's leadership, the foundation has launched numerous initiatives aimed at addressing critical health issues in underserved communities. Her strategic vision and commitment to public health have driven the foundation's success in implementing effective health programs, from occupational safety training to maternal and child health care. Dr. Azabi's collaborative approach and expertise has been instrumental in enhancing the foundation's capacity to make a tangible impact on the health and wellbeing of Nigerian communities.

Our vision is to create a society where all individuals have good health and wellbeing. Our programs cut across offering medical outreaches to underserved communities, occupational safety training for workers, maternal and child health care, health advocacy and promoting good health care systems.
Our team is made up of multidisciplinary experts with experience and passion to drive positive change in Nigeria.
