The goal of our Occupational Safety Training program is to provide safety training to all workers in Nigeria, improve work environments, and equip individuals with basic emergency response skills. This initiative aims to significantly reduce work-related injuries and deaths.
Our Maternal and Child Health Care program focuses on promoting maternal and child health through health outreaches in underserved communities. We provide health education, essential drugs, and links to specialist care for mothers at various stages of pregnancy and postpartum to reduce maternal mortality rates.
In partnership with Safer Hands Initiative, we work on projects to revamp the primary healthcare system in Nigeria. Our efforts include conducting research, empowering healthcare centers with resources and training, and developing policies to enhance healthcare delivery, with the goal of achieving universal health coverage.
The Rebekah Bamido Foundation is led by Dr. Borowa Azabi, MD, MPH. She is a public health expert and advocate for healthier communities and workplaces, with extensive experience in healthcare delivery and nonprofit management.
